I get a lot of emails asking for recommendations for favorite DC eats so I thought I'd do a post sharing a few of my favorites casual bites and sweets in D.C. ...

 

 

Casual, yummy eats in DC [many of these are kid-friendly]: 

Good Stuff Eatery, Toki Underground, Burger Tap Shake, Standard [finally reopen!], Il Canale or 2Amy's for pizza, Hank's Oyster Bar, Little Serow, Graffiato, Amsterdam Falafel

 

Favorites Sweets in DC: 

The Sweet Lobby [discovered via Brandi two weeks ago and I've been there twice now],Dolcezza Gelato, Uncle Chip's Cookie, Baked & Wired, Sprinkles [not a local shop but my favorite cupcake :], Pie Sisters, Teaism, Patisserie Poupon, Sinplicity - this is a food truck outside of DC, but so good I had to mention

 

And now I'm hungry!  Later this week I'm going to share my Old Town Alexandria favorites, where our studio/shop is based.
