getting ready for the new year
I LOVE the week between Christmas + New Years. Its quiet enough where I usually can use this week to get ready for the new year, write resolutions + organize ...

back from mexico
We're back + had a great time! I highly recommend a warm weather getaway this time of year : ) ...
Despite lost luggage + illnesses (Ike + husband) towards the end of the trip, it was a great week away full of good family time + rest. Now back into the swing of things ...
And a big thanks to TIMES online for including simplesong among the top 50 design blogs! I'm totally flattered + thrilled to be among such great company!
