starting school

I seriously can not believe its time for our little one to start pre-school in a few weeks.  Here are the things I've gotten him to get ready + excited ...

I know I'm going to be a big mess that first day I drop him off (I was even a teary-eyed mess when we toured schools).  I also realize I may be going overboard a bit given the fact he's only going 3 days a week for half days.  Maybe my way of coping?

The county fair is a must-do for us every summer.  And speaking of summer ... I can't believe its almost over.  I'm squeezing in as much summer goodness as possible over the next few weeks.  What sorts of end-of-summer plans do you have?
