ike book

Our little one [Ike] is at the age [2.5] where he's starting to say the funniest things.  I find myself cracking up daily. I wanted to remember these little moments, so I made a simple book ...

I got a simple Kolo album [love these], letterpress printed some blank cards + I slip them into little glassine envelopes next to photos of him from around that time frame.  I carry the little cards with me [you never know what he's going to say or where] and leave a few lying around the house.  I look forward to filing up this book, looking back through it + telling him the stories of the silly things he said.

I so need to go to Japan.

mysterious letters

I think this is so great ... unsolicited letters to everyone in the small Irish town of Cushendall ...

From the senders: "We hoped these unsolicited letters would prompt neighbourly discussion, spreading across the town, promoting community curiosity."  You can see all the letters here.

simplesong :: recent projects

I've been working nonstop on all sorts of custom projects ... including fall weddings, announcements + business cards among other things.  I thought I'd share a few of the finished projects ...

Up top is a moving announcement for one of my client's moving to Africa - we did a postcard on extra thick stock.  The rest are parts of wedding suites and I love the natural but clean look of them all.  Will be sure to share more of my work and up next on my to do list is to update the website!
