shop updated

I finally updated my much neglected shop with a few goodies ... I've been so busy working on custom projects -- it felt really good to get back in the Etsy swing of things.  I had forgotten how much I enjoy making things for my little shop!  I added my first round of letterpress goods + a few vintage goodies.  I'll be throwing in those pencils as a little thanks [while supplies last ;].

Each time I see photos + goodies from Arthur's Circus I end up loving their collection of vintage goodies more + more ...

I love their stuff so much I figure it was time to catalog it here on my little blog.  Oh how I'd love to have one of those lamps! 

brocade home

Lots of really pretty things on sale over at Brocade Home ... While its a bit more ornate than my usual taste, I wouldn't mind having any of the above loveliness in my home -- especially that quilt + cork board!

type designer

I came across the Flickr account of the guy who designed Feel Script + discovered some of his other work ...
 

He has some serious talent!  I love his work. 

i *heart* letterpress type

In letterpress you can either use old school type or get plates made of essentially any design you want.  While I plan on using mostly plates, I knew I wanted to use type as well.  There's just something about it I love ...

I found this great sans serif on Ebay + just love it.  You'll be seeing a lot of it from me. :]

Shop to be updated with my first round of letterpress stuff within a week or so!

american eagle

Its 90-100 degrees [!] here which has kept us indoors most of that last few days.  Today we ventured to the mall so Ike could run around + blow off some steam.   We walked by American Eagle + a few things caught my eye so we wandered on in ...

I've never been in that store but admittedly there were a few cute things.  I love my long cardigans, so I think I'll keep my eye their cute one + scoop it up once it goes on sale.

Too bad their in Calgary, Canada, otherwise I'd definitely visit!

The details, creativity + craftsmanship looks incredible.
