millicent + frank

I like the designs of home product designer Millicent + Frank ...Clean, modern + fresh.  I also really like that chair [the product their selling in the left photo is the wall hanging].  I've seen that chair a few times now but no one notes the maker.  Anyone have any idea where its from?

new banner?

I'm thinking its time for a new banner - at least for summer.  Can't decide ...You know how I love my bright yellow but I'll probably have to change it up because its hard to read.  That font is also too hard to read, isn't it?  I'm leaning towards the photo but you probably also know I like very simple repeating patterns.  Anyhow, thoughts?  :]

EDIT: Ok -- I really need to change the font + the yellow.   Looking at it again, you can't even read it!  General thoughts/suggestions are still welcomed + appreciated!

catching up

Slowly but surely I'm catching up on everything.  Here are a few custom orders I've been trying to finish up ...
I made a bunch custom cards [similar to these].  Also finished custom push pins as favors for a baby shower.   Yay!  A few more orders + I'm all caught up + will focus on a little shop update.  Thanks, everyone, for your patience. 

a nice father's day

We had a quiet but lovely father's day.  To enjoy the day, husb went on a long cycling ride with his buddies + I cooked up some of his favorites...
Lobster, steak, his fav biscuits and a few other things [he's a huge eater - especially after cycling 50+ miles].  I was going to try to make this cake but ended up getting our favorite eclairs.  Little one ended his meal with his favorites too -- cupcakes + corn.   As you can see, he was happy. :]

pottery barn summer sale

Lots of cute stuff on sale over at Pottery Barn ...Especially love the rug + frames. I have the shorter glass vase which is great + that mailbox is too cute.

most recent favorite photos

I have a gazillion photos of the little one but these two are my new favorites ... He looks all grown-up in the photo on the left - its cute but makes me sad.  On the right he's holding buttercup flowers a friend gave him...he carefully held those for a good 30 minutes [an eternity for a 20 month old;]
