It seems lately I can't get enough of simply designed ceramics - like bison australia ... I especially love their color palette.

What did you do 10 years ago?
I finished my last year in college in Rome, Italy.  I spent that summer putzing around Europe before I moved to Washington, DC for my first real job + I also met my husband-to-be that fall.   Pretty good year for me. :]

Five items on your to-do list:
-Finish announcements for baby Wyatt
-Plan/map out road trip to Chicago
-Get letterpress work area ready
-Finish cleaning out closets
-Shop for Monday dinner party + Tuesday playgroup

Snacks I enjoy:
I’m a HUGE snacker with a major sweet tooth [probably why I am unable to lose those last 5 lbs of baby weight].  I love candy, chocolate and pretty much any sweet baked good.  Cereal is a regular go-to snack too.

What would you do if you were a billionaire?
We'd retire [our families too], live somewhere fabulous [e.g. French Riviera], do the things we love [create, write, play, travel] + donate + volunteer lots.

I discovered the photography of Angie Cao via Bliss [one of my new favorite blogs] + instantly fell in love with her style ... I've always been interested in photography but ever since I started blogging + got my new camera, I can't get enough!  So, I love finding inspiring photographers like Angie Cao. 

On another note, its a very happy day for me today.  I finally found a printing press!  Ever since my letterpress class, I've been searching high + low + scouring the internet.  I finally found + purchased the perfect one this morning.  Now, my sister + I are driving to Chicago next weekend to pick it up.  Crazy, I know.   Really crazy, actually.  But I'm beyond excited.

I discovered the work of Shanna Murray the other day + am smitten by the thoughtfulness in her products ...Those little spools are 'spindle cards' -- the message is wrapped around the spool.  Now, that's cute!  Here's her Etsy shop.

new push pins :: limited edition

I added few things to my little shop, including limited edition push pins...
I'm trying the limited edition route just for fun + mostly because I like to have a little variety of what I make.  We'll see how it goes! :]

I found flour clothing the other day +  just love everything about their vintage inspired style ...And finally, a little girl's clothing line that also makes just as cute big people clothes!

my new obsession

I should have known that Mary + Amy [two of my fellow Kirtsy editors who also are always in the know of all things pretty + cool:] would know exactly what this chair was.  Its my new obsession + I think I'm going to have to get one ... Love this photo too.
