I have a very sick husband home from work today. Let's all hope for a speedy recovery! Back tomorrow.
Very lovely images from photographer Melissa Kaseman.
[and a big thanks for your kind words about my vintage goodies + photography!]
I stopped by my local [and favorite] antique store yesterday to see if I could find a few props for photographing my new shop products. I came away with a few goodies ...
A perfect cake stand, a wire paper holder, a mini chalkboard [from 1917!] + a fab red metal schoolhouse table [going back to pick that one up]. I originally went looking for a vintage camera but was happy with what I scored.
As for the photography goes, it needs some work ... but I'm definitely enjoying this process.
I always love the combination of photography + typography. So, when I came across this Flickr user's collection of Polaroids, I couldn't get enough ...
Peonies from a few weeks ago. I'm so sad peony season came + went so fast.Hope everyone has a great weekend! I'll be letterpressing much of this weekend - have already got a lot of great projects going - can't wait to share! And don't forget to enter my little giveaway. I'll choose someone on Monday.
Happy weekend!
I thought I'd leave you with another photographer's work I recently came across + really like ...
And I just love that bicycle print in the upper left [if anyone knows where that's from...I'd love to know!]
Here are a few other things I've been admiring + keep going back to: Mary's Words+Pictures post, Karey's writing/blog in its entirety, You Are Beautiful, the Cox&Cox sale, these prints, and all of these letterpress type blocks. :]

It seems I'm coming upon loads of lovely photography lately. Patrick Kline's work is one of those + has quickly become another favorite ...These photos are so fresh + summery. Love it.

I discovered the photography of Angie Cao via Bliss [one of my new favorite blogs] + instantly fell in love with her style ... I've always been interested in photography but ever since I started blogging + got my new camera, I can't get enough! So, I love finding inspiring photographers like Angie Cao.
On another note, its a very happy day for me today. I finally found a printing press! Ever since my letterpress class, I've been searching high + low + scouring the internet. I finally found + purchased the perfect one this morning. Now, my sister + I are driving to Chicago next weekend to pick it up. Crazy, I know. Really crazy, actually. But I'm beyond excited.
