Today I'm thankful that our little one is such a good sleeper ...
People ask me all the time how I do all the things I do. Well, for one, I like to be very busy. But really? Its only because our little one has always been an especially good sleeper. He sleeps in everyday until about 9 or 10 + takes a very long afternoon nap. Believe me I don't take it for granted. But these days as I'm in full business-building mode [which I will share about in the coming weeks], I'm especially thankful.
Our little one is at the age [2 in October] where he's really coming into his own. And he's constantly making me laugh ...
Like when his hair is so crazy after a night's sleep [these photos don't do the craziness justice] + when he's so relaxed in a pool of balls that he's about to fall asleep [he loved that thing so much we couldn't get him out]. My silly boy.
To say that Ike loves trains is an understatement. He's totally obsessed. And he totally scored this weekend when daddy bought him a new train set-up ...
We surprised him with it after his nap on Sunday. As you can see, he was surprised + a bit confused [love the look on his face] but quickly snapped out of it + made a mad dash for his new treasure. Now I can barely get him to leave that corner of the house.
Little one is loving hats these days + insists on wearing them all the time. I'm trying to find some cute ones ...
Any thoughts on places that carry cute boy hats? The one's above [from J. Crew, Janie + Jack + Babystyle] are cute but I don't love 'em.
[picture above is from music class....that day's theme was 'beach day' in case you're wondering why the kids are wearing swimsuits indoors ;].
Three things I'm hearting these days ...
His chubby hands [I think the day those go away I'll be very sad], my new mouse pad from Shim + Sons, + Target for dresses like the above [forgot about my dress find + just added it ;]
I have a gazillion photos of the little one but these two are my new favorites ...
He looks all grown-up in the photo on the left - its cute but makes me sad. On the right he's holding buttercup flowers a friend gave him...he carefully held those for a good 30 minutes [an eternity for a 20 month old;]
