letterpress :: i'm hooked!
I took my letterpress class yesterday + loved every minute of the 8-hour class ...

I thought I'd come away one of two ways ... either loving it even more or overwhelmed by the process + would just continue to appreciate it from afar.
Well, I'm officially in love with the technique + am on a full-on hunt for my own press!
I made the above print/card during my class [found that saying via Karey, love it! :]. I got to make 50+ of them. I have so many I think I'll give aways as gifts.

That looks like so much fun! I wish there were some letterpress classes around my area. Lovely print you made!

Love them! I'm so jealous. Last year I was all ready to purchase a letterpress and open shop in my basement, but it just wasn't realistic. Have you checked out briarpress.org?

I love your print! I felt the same way about the beginning sewing class I'm taking - I figured I would either love it or become frustrated and overwhelmed and go back to wishing I could sew. But I love it! Good luck to you on all future letterpress! How exciting.
