little giveaway contents

I finally got the little red suitcase off to its winner.  Hope she enjoys!  A few folks asked what I included ...

to wallpaper or not

I've been thinking of either painting or wallpaper the long wall in my little studio ...

Those are the few designs I've narrowed it down to. I'm thinking simple, modern but with a touch of femininity.  I think my favorite are the two bottom by Jonathan Adler [he's got some lovely wallpaper].

I've never wallpapered + can't decide if it would be too overwhelming or if I would get tired of it. 

Any thoughts welcome. :]

woah, what a surprise

Talk about a surprise...I was catching up on my blogs today via google reader and there I saw a picture of one of my 'to do' pins on Design Mom!  I thought, that looks just like mine...and then I realized it was! Thanks, Gabby for the mention on your hugely popular + amazing blog.

I think I'm going to have to add Ulla Johnson to my list of favorite clothing designers.  Her designs are clean, simple, feminine, + look very wearable.  Here's some of my favs from her spring line ...

another chair post

Another chair post ... just because I'm really loving chairs these days.  Love this print + love the 20x200 concept [art for everyone] ...

Here's part of the description by the artist:

I didn't know it until I read this ... but I think this is why I love chairs!  I so wish I knew about this earlier because its sold out.  Bummer!

i *heart* this chair

The moment I saw this DWR chair a month or so ago, I fell in love with it ...

I'm now just hoping it will go on sale. Pottery Barn makes one similar but I don't like it quite as much.

Happy weekend.  Its supposed to rain some tomorrow...and I'm actually looking forward to it so that I can have a bit of a respite from my allergies.  Itchy eyes are no fun.

shoes for little one

My love for shoes extends to my little one.  Here are a few pretty cute ones I'm eyeing ...

Since there's only so much you can do with boy clothes, I end up having some fun with shoes.  I'm not sure how long this will last because he likes to choose which shoes he wears + he's been choosing his crocs almost daily.

yay for days off

Thanks all for your nice notes about my little day off yesterday.  It was well worth it + very much needed.  I recommend it! :] Here's my desk at the end of yesterday [yay!] with a few notes ...

I feel so much better.  I would show a before photo but its just too unsightly.

Towards the end of the day yesterday, I read this on Karey's blog + was literally crying at my desk.  Its always good to get a little perspective.  Thanks, Karey - you're an amazing writer.
