This week in particular I am very much ready for the weekend. Was a very busy week with "work, work", my little shop + tons of stuff around the house. We're ready to loosen our ties + have some fun!

Henry Road has some nice + cheery products + fabrics that I really like ...
So much so that I recently ordered some remnant fabric. I really don't need more fabric, especially since I was considering doing a little tag sale to unload fabric [!], but I couldn't resist.
And speaking of tag sales, I think I'll hold off. I've got some new + exciting stuff coming up next week [will share in a few days] + don't have the time to do a little sale properly.

Its pretty informative + well put together. I especially like the interviews of current craftes/artists [some of my favorites like Lotta Jansdotter + Jonathan Adler] throughout the book.
I've been thinking lately if/how I want my little shop to grow. Originally when I started my little shop + this blog it was just a bit of a hobby/creative outlet. But in just a few short months its far exceeded my expectations + as a lovely bonus I've made lots of lovely/new friends on the way.
Its been so, so great thus far + I can't wait to see what's in store for me next!
I've
been busy with projects for around the house + making a few gifts, including these little cards + big labels for a little friend's birthday ...
She's 5 years old. I figure its never too early to start the love for all things paper. :)
A few things that I'm liking on Etsy these days ...
I didn't realize until I put this together that I am definitely liking soft hues.

All this spring cleaning has got me thinking of having a little tag sale next week ...
I'm thinking it might be good to unload some excess supplies, fabric as well as sample work.

We're doing some major spring cleaning around here ... 
And it feels great. Today, the little one got spiffied up by getting a hair cut, we got a major cleaning for our car + tidied up our little front yard. Next on the list for this week is a Good Will drop-off, list a few things to sell on Craigs List + a professional cleaning of our home top to bottom [I am most excited about this].
Now we just need spring to get here ... quick!
