How charming are these vintage finds from Three Potato Four?
Especially that red Valentine typewriter.
I blogged about this in the early days of this blog [a few months ago:], but I can't say it enough ... I love a good font. And I especially *heart* a good, free font! Just downloaded this one from Blue Vinyl ...
I'm a list maker; I make lists for everything. But what I love most about making lists is being able to check things off my list. These pads from lobotoME make list making that fun ...
I just ordered the "Pack Me" checklist. Now I'll be sure to have everything for our upcoming vacation!
I put my little cards in the mail today. Here are a couple of snapshots of what I made ...
Was inspired by the old school library book cards. Recycled some old manila folders for the card holder + used one of those old school date stamps, which I love.
Made a simple, small card out of heavy card stock + a button/string tie. Who doesn't like tiny red polka dots?
Hope my recipients like!
Made a couple extra of both + put in shop along with some other new stuff.
I've always thought about taking a calligraphy class for fun but have never gotten around to it. I have decent handwriting but could never do anything as artistic as this ...
Work + images are from Bluebird Studios where you can find lovely illustrations + hand lettering.
I'm reading Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. Reading about her journeys through Rome make me want to go back their, like tomorrow. But that's not happening, at least any time soon. So as second best I was inspired to go through some of my old photos from when I lived there [for a year during my last year in college]. Here are some of my favorites ...
I'm now inspired to go through my old photos + digitally archive them [no digital cameras when I was taking these photos in Rome ... can you imagine!].
[A little side note: whenever I see that first photo, I feel like I'm intruding on her grief ... even remember feeling that when I took the photo.]
I *heart* Flickr. Found this group, the Jumping Project, recently ...
There's something very cheery about photos of people jumping.

The little one + I are feeling a teeny bit under the weather so, to play it safe, we stayed in much of the weekend. Some new favorite photos taken on Sunday ...
[Top left photo]: On weekend mornings if he's woken up before us, one of my favorite things to do is to bring the little one to our bed. Here he is getting comfy on dad's pillow.
[Top right photo]: He's tall + somewhat skinny [though I swear he eats like a horse] ... but I love his little belly.
[Bottom photos]: Liked these pictures because of the white + the lighting was so great.
Yay, he's walking! At 15 months and on 1.25.08, he started to walk!
We bought some new kicks to commemorate the day.
